Grandma's house
So I went to grandma's house with my family to celebrate Tiffany & Noah's birthdays. Even though their birthdays are not til later in the week our family is going on a cruise and the other family members wont be there to celebrate with us so ... It was nice, uncle Oscar basked a cake for both Tiff and Noah they were both delicious. Anyway the day was pretty laid back, except for mom and I fighting of course but what else is new? So yeah the singing happy birthday, gifts, cake, all that was fun, killed me that I dont have a photo taking device of any kind. Which reminds me I have to buy a disposable camera for when i go on the cruise. so yeah and grandma sent a bunch of food home with me which was good. The cakes were 1 strawberry and the other chocolate with peanut butter served along with banana pudding ice cream = to die for! so we left and got back to Melbourne around 9-930 and tiff tok me home and she stayed and helped me pack. we also looked online to try and get class rings well for whatever reason the internet was going so slow while she was here and we couldn't find decent rings so after she left i looked some more and found one at walmart ( the evil place tiff calls it) that was satisfactory for me in price and design so now i just have to wait to get $119 leftover from all the bills I have to pay which means i probably wont get my class ring til im a grandma LOL ... SIGH. Chatted with Nick last night that was nice I actually missed him, chatted with Garrett too bc I was suppose to see him when I went to Deltona but that didn't happen and then he wanted me to call him so I did and that was also nice, we talked about Melvin :( but yeah so and today I'm going out to eat with Oksana and possibly Heather and Patrick, we'll see I'm writing my stories for Sam right now...

I LOVE WORKING WEDDINGS! (aw man I forgot to get the DJ's business card...)
So I FINALLY got 8 hours of sleep last night, in 2 parts. I went to bed at 4am and slept til 8 then i woke up for something I dont remember then I went back to bed and slept til 12. I was chatting with my friend Dave when my boss at the Hilton called be around 1-115 asking me if i wanted to work today, well duh of course I did so I told her yeah and I told her I'd get there ASAP. Well so I go to the bus stop and I would have been there on time if not early but I get like 30 seconds away from the sign and the bus flies by and I am waving down my arms and running after it and he leaves! OH I was so NOT happy at this point but whatever so I go back home and I figure at least now I can eat breakfast blessing in disguise I guess so I make breakfast and go to the bus stop WAY early and I am thinking " I wish I wouldn't have to pay for the bus bc now its his fault I am late for work" so the bus comes and as soon as I get on the bus driver blocks the slot and says I dont have to pay bc he passed me up before! PRAISE GOD! So I'm all worried bc I'm getting to work later than they told me to. When I walk into to work (and like 2 other times throughout the night) my boss THANKS me for coming into work on such short notice! So she never said anything about being there late! Then I find out I am working a wedding which is my fave event to work bc 1. I daydream 2. I get ideas ;) So the wedding reception is GORGEOUS! OMG the color scheme was red, black and white (which are my mother's fave colors)
Anyway so in a nutshell the event went great, the music was FREAKING AMAZING! I was fighting the urge with every drop of strength in my body NOT to dance! I actually got teared up with joy bc the DJ was playing like EVERY song I LOVE to dance to! so I would go to the hallway where we work and the people from the event cant see me and I danced a little there LOL I just know I wanted to dance SO badly at that point and I wished I had a car or somehow to go out dancing tonight. then they were suppose to have the room until 12 putting us leaving around 1-130AM but we were done with everything by 11pm! :D so then they let us take some candy and flowers home! omg just freaking awesome!

Is your birthday really your birthday? Shouldn't your life be marked since conception? IDK... food for thought...
The whole night all these ideas for my birthday keep flooding my brain and I HAD to write them down! okay here it is.
IDEA #1 instead of people give me presents ( I know they will even tho I ALWAYS tell me not to) they can give me money to either 1. replenish my funds after spending money to get down there and/or 2. pitch in for me to get a tongue piercing. When I first got mine it was $30 & I've been 'shopping' around Melbourne/Palm Bay & the cheapest is $35 & the most expensive is 50. So I broke it down like this if 10 people come they can give me $4 each, 8ppl-$5, 4 ppl- $10 I mean I am not going to ASK them for money I am simply going to tell them I prefer a monetary gift as oppose to a something they're going to buy and then wrap.
IDEA #2 (the wedding and just working at the Hilton prompted this) renting a banquet room at a hotel, a small one, and either get a DJ or find a free one through someone I know or whatnot (HA!), have a cash bar or just have them go out to the bar when they want something, and then either do that after dinner or have some hors devours passed around? But then when I thought that one out I figured it would be too expensive so here are some cost effective ideas.
IDEA #3 a beach party (which might not work bc of the weather)
IDEA #4 a picnic at the beach or at a park and BECAUSE of the weather it wont be too hot for us to chill outside and we can just do like a BBQ with grilling and stuff - or not - IDK. Then I also thought about having a birthday breakfast and/or lunch, in addition to the dinner but that would be too much $$ for people to spend so IDK about that either. Then I started thinking about my guest list and I know I'm missing people but here's who I have so far: Brenda & her husband Frank, Nick, Shirley, my titi Jeni, kleave, my brother Gabriel & his wife, Sarah and her sister Sally, Ramsey, Ajit and on my 'maybe' list is Melvin, his sister Asalia, Steve (a friend of mine and Sarah's in Broward), Ben, Joann (the Bush's daughter), Nick's sis Angela, Doug & Michelle, and this chic Melissa and her man . I know I will extend the invitation to some people on my space/face book but I know they will not come. And any other people I would have invited moved away so obviously they can't come now. And last but not least IDEA #5 is to have the dinner at a restaurant that has a dance floor and a DJ that way either during dinner or after we can stay right there and dance the night away until the place closes and then we can go somewhere else OR by that time some of the people will be tired and go home and who ever is left can go somewhere else and party.. or something like that. WHEW! aren't you glad I am done. Man and that is just today LOL I'll be real fast with my day yesterday. I applied to 3 jobs in person, my birth certificate came already so I'll be able to go on the cruise, I paid for my mdcc transcripts to be sent, made the money order for the homestead high transcript, called the massage school to ask them how to get mine from there, paid my storage and tithed. :D and I think bc I tithed God gave me a 3rd opportunity to work at the Hilton today. So far my weekend is kicking butt and taking names! Tomorrow I go see my grandma with my mom & siblings were celebrating their birthdays early there :) and then the cruise on Thursday.
